So what is this new recipe, you may ask? Here's what we found.

ATLANTA — Did you notice? Atlanta-based fast-food Chick-fil-A has recently made a slight change to its waffle fries. The chicken chain has a new recipe that allows its waffle fries to stay crispier for longer.

So what is this new recipe, you may ask? Here's what we found.

Did Chick-fil-A change its waffle fries?

Yes, according to Chick-fil-A's website, the fast-food chain did change its waffle fries recipe.

"We know Chick-fil-A fans love our Waffle Potato Fries. We recently made a slight adjustment to our Waffle Potato Fries recipe, which offers the same great taste," Chick-fil-A wrote.

While the new recipe doesn't contain any of the nine major allergens, Chick-fil-A said the new coating on its waffle fries does contain pea starch.

"Food safety and quality are our top priorities, and we take great care in adhering to stringent food safety procedures," the fast-food chain added.
